    Job Title: Human Resource Manager, Boston Government Services, LLC 

    Location: Oak Ridge, TN

    We are looking to add a Human Resources Manager position to our Oak Ridge, TN office

     What’s in it for you?

    The Human Resources Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the Human Resource function, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, recruitment, and legal compliance.

     What is the job?

    • Develops and administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel.
    • Plans, organizes, and controls all departmental activities. Participates in developing departmental goal, objectives and systems.
    • Implements and updates compensation and performance management programs.
    • Manages and performs payroll processing activities.
    • Manages and performs benefit administration activities.
    • Manages Substance Abuse Program.
    • Manages required documentation for employees on LOA and Workers Compensation.
    • Develops and maintains Affirmative Action Programs; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
    • Conducts recruitment and onboarding efforts.
    • Establishes and maintains department records and reports.
    • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

     What you bring to the job?

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related discipline and 4 years’ human resources manager experience in a firm of greater than 100 employees
    • Experience managing a multi-state workforce
    • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred
    • Government contracting experience preferred
    • Hands-on management style
    • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
    • Self-discipline, initiative and leadership ability
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of an organization
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently or under minimal supervision
    • Ability to establish compliant processes and management systems
